We are a group of coaches and parents that provide swimming in Fort Myers and Lehigh Acres that provide a fun and technical learning environment. We are part of Swim Florida and the coach in charge of this area is Pam Barry who has coached for over 30 years with Swim Florida as a club and/or High School coaching. The main Swim Florida age group coach at the Riverdale high school pool is Julie Vander Plaats.

Lehigh Acres Community Pool   -----   Riverdale High School Pool

   ARE YOU INTERESTED IN BECOMING A MEMBER OF OUR SWIM TEAM?  .  .

Our Swim Florida program are using the Lehigh Acres community pool and the Riverdale High School pool.
We are having tryouts at 5:30 pm at both locations or via appointment with Coach Pam or Coach Julie.
We are a competitive swim team for ages five (5) and older (currently NO Masters group).
Our program runs all year long. The pools are heated during the winter months.
We have our own Recreational Swim League that involves about 9 pools in Lee and Collier County. The Summer Swim League has a lot of local meets including an End of the Summer Championship meet while the Winter Swim League has fewer meets.

Information

The Lehigh Acres Community Pool is a 169,800 gallons, eight-lane heated pool that is open to the public year-round. The pool has an aggregate finish and a high rate rapid sand filter system. Amenities - eight (8) lane pool with depths ranging from 3'6" to 5'6". The pool is heated in the winter with an average water temp. of 82 degrees. There are both outdoor and indoor showers as well as locker rooms. The pool is used by a large number of organizations including Swim Florida youth swim team.

Our Riverdale program is lead by Coach Julie Vander Plaats.

The Riverdale pool has a fiberglass pool interior finish with an aggregate finish and a high rate rapid sand filter system. Amenities - 183,500 gallons, six-lane "L shaped depths range from 3'6" to 11' with a 1-meter diving board. The pool is heated in the winter with an average water temp. of 82 degrees and cooled during the summer months. Unfortunately, there are no indoor showers or locker rooms.
The pool is home to the Riverdale Raiders High School swim team and Swim Florida.
